Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
1. Service
RegSpend provides business intelligence derived from publicly available regulatory, enforcement, settlement, consent-decree, corrective-action, and related public-source information. The service is intended for commercial research and business-development use.
2. No professional advice
RegSpend does not provide legal, regulatory, financial, investment, accounting, or professional engineering advice. Customers are responsible for independently verifying information before making business, legal, purchasing, sales, compliance, or investment decisions.
3. Accuracy and availability
Public records and third-party sources may be incomplete, delayed, corrected, changed, or removed. RegSpend does not guarantee that every enforcement action, obligation, company, facility, opportunity, amount, or deadline will be identified, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the price shown at checkout. Billing is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until the subscription is canceled.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time before your next renewal date. Cancellation stops future recurring charges. Unless otherwise stated, access continues through the end of the already-paid billing period.
6. Refunds and Founding Starter Guarantee
Completed billing periods are generally non-refundable except where required by law, where a billing error has occurred, or under an offer explicitly displayed at the time of purchase.
Founding Starter Guarantee: If you start the Starter plan while the Founding Starter Guarantee is displayed, complete a usable company profile, and RegSpend surfaces fewer than three current company-matched opportunities during your first 30 days, you may request a refund of your first Starter payment by emailing jonathan@regspend.com within seven days after that 30-day period. The guarantee applies to the first Starter payment only.
7. Acceptable use
You may use RegSpend for lawful internal business purposes. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, gain unauthorized access, misuse customer accounts, scrape or redistribute the service in a manner that materially harms RegSpend, or use the service for unlawful activity.
8. Public sources and third parties
References to government agencies, regulated entities, companies, products, or third parties do not imply endorsement, partnership, affiliation, or sponsorship. Source records remain subject to the terms, notices, and corrections of the organizations that publish them.
9. Intellectual property
RegSpend branding, site design, original analysis, data organization, scoring methods, and other original service materials are owned by or licensed to RegSpend. Public-source records remain the property of their respective publishers or rights holders.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RegSpend is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service or reliance on public-source information. Any direct liability will be limited to the amount paid by the customer to RegSpend during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
12. Contact
For billing, cancellation, support, or Terms questions, contact jonathan@regspend.com.
